When will I receive my order?
Orders will typically be dispached within 7 working days, but please allow the following time frame before contacting us regarding delivery.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?
Yes. We use a secure transactional server.
We do not store any of your credit card information for security reasons.
How will I know that you've received my order?
You will receive a confirmation via email when our server successfully processes your order.
Will my credit card information be secure?
Yes. The credit card payment portion of our ordering process is on an encrypted secure server.
Do I have to pay TAX
Every order /purchase is GST(15%) inclusive.
I live outside New Zealand, can I still order from you?
Yes, but not from our web site. Please contact us for international orders
How do I put stuff in my shopping cart?
Simply click on add to cart on any product page.
How do I take stuff out of my shopping cart?
Click on the "View cart" button that appears at the top of the page. then edit the quantity value of any of the displayed items, then click "Update Quantities"
How do I buy the stuff I have in my shopping cart?
Click on the "Next Step checkout" on the "view cart" page or the "checkout" button that appears at the top of the page.
Do I have to register?
Yes, to buy anything from this web site you must register then login.
To browse only, you do not need to register
Will the Copper rust? The metal copper does not rust or corrode so will last forever. It can however, turn a green (patina) colour like an old statue
Will my Copper Workx product break. Copper is very malleable and in most instances is easy to bend, like with the Gecko's. However, it can only be done a few times before metal fatigue sets in and it breaks.
Are the colours painted on? The colours created on Copper Workx products are made from the heat effect of the gas torch used to cut them out.
What does 95% recycled mean?
Most of the Copper Workx products are recycled from old hot water cylinders. Even the fish eyes used in the large fish are from recycled glass.
The sprinklers and piping for the fountains use new copper. Hence only 95% recycled.
How do you make the copper go green?
For instances like the mermaid tails we use a killed spirit (acid) to advance the patina or green look on the copper. We do not use paint.
If you leave copper outside for sometime it will naturally turn green. This is usually a slow process.
Will my copper fish go green if I put it outside?
All Copper Workx products are sprayed with a clear automotive lacquer that will hold the colours in the fish for sometime, (this varies with every area, less time is taken when by the sea.) If paatina occurs and is not wanted, lightly sand with wet and dry sandpaper then re-apply a clear gloss.
For Sprinklers and fountains a special gloss called Nyalic is used which has a 5 year guarantee, and is used on space shuttles and aeroplanes. For more information look on www.nyalic.co.nz
Can I have something made to order? Yes but not at present. As we are starting out as new business owners, this will be available again shortly. If you go to the contact page and phone, or email us at Copper Workx and we will be more than happy to help if we can.
I have an old hot water cylinder will you buy it off me?
Yes, irovide that this can be arranged. Usually the location makes this not economic.
The only time we don't is if it is foam injected, or we have no room.
We pay $1 per gallon.
Do you do wholesale for retailers? Yes. If you ring and talk directly with us we can send you one of our retailers packs with our terms and conditions in.
Can I order products to be shipped directly overseas?
